ClickNathan

Nathan Swartz of ClickNathan is our June 2009 Designer of the Month. He is passionate and devoted to web designing.

He loves the idea of building the Internet, helping to make this thing that is changing people's lives a reality. And as opposed to print design or doing animation for television, which Nathan did before, web design gives you a chance to build something that works, that people can interact with and use and maybe even help them out a bit or make a difference somehow.

Pittsburgh is Nathan's hometown. He calls Pitts a really cool, fairly progressive city that is a big secret. He also spends a lot of time in Austin these days. Warm and friendly people are the cornerstone of the city. And how can he travel? Nathan and his family live in an RV; they can and do make anywhere they want to go, a home.

Click Nathan's greatest passion is designing sites for non-profits and in particular, those that promote bicycling or walking, sustainability and living in small, walkable neighborhoods. He believes that America is finally moving away from the idea that you need to have enough acreage to house your own baseball field behind the garage. It thrills him to help organizations, helping the community.

And if Nathan can help someone get their vision online, it makes him happy. Be sure to visit his amazing website and get in touch with him.
