Using Multi-Account Functions in WHM
So you have multiple accounts to manage for your reseller program. With WHM it's fairly easy to manage all your accounts, you can make changes easily to just one or you can make the same changes to a group of domains. Let this simple WHM tutorial walk you through the steps of managing a single account or multiple accounts at once.
The necessary steps
- First log into WHM.
- Click the Multi-Account Functions link.
- There are two tools available in Multi-Account Functions.
- You can modify or upgrade multiple accounts at the same time or you can delete multiple accounts at the same time as well.
- In both cases, using the multi-account functions instead of performing the tasks one account at a time may save you a lot of time depending on how many accounts you need to change or delete.
- Click the Modify/Upgrade Multiple Accounts link.
- On the left you will notice a list of all the accounts in the reseller plan.
- On the right are some selection tools that may make it easier to select accounts when there are dozens or even hundreds to choose from.
- Find and select the appropriate accounts.
- Next select a new package for the accounts that were selected.
- Then click the Change button.
- That's it. All accounts that were selected have now been changed. You can now go back and select other accounts that need to be changed as well.
- Now click the Multi-Account Functions link.
- Then click the Terminate Multiple accounts link if you need to terminate any accounts.
- From here you can delete or terminate a single or multiple accounts.
- Be very careful when doing this, as it is a permanent action. And most importantly do not delete your main reseller account.
- Before deleting you will need to type in the box at the bottom "I Understand". Click the button and the accounts are permanently deleted.
