How to Park a Domain
If you own several domain names and would like to manage the traffic that visits those domains so that they all land on the same final webpage, then you probably want to park those domains. First, you have to go through the process of pointing the domain namserver of the domain you want to park towards the domain you want to feature. That can be done by getting in touch with the registrar of the domains you want to park. Once it is pointed correctly, then you can easily complete the process from within your cPanel controls. Steps For Parking a Domain
- Make sure you are logged in to your cPanel account
- Select the "Park Domain" feature to park additional domains at your website
- Scroll down
- Click on the "Parked Domains" icon
- This can be useful when you have additional domain names
- Parking a domain makes it possible for it to point visitors to a different address
- Domain parking will not work if you haven't updated the domain nameservers of the domain you are parking to point to your accounts nameservers. Do that with your registrar first
- Enter the domain you want to park in box provided
- Click the "Add Domain" button
- That's it. The domain is now parked.
- Click go back.
- You can see now that the domain is now listed as parked
- You can remove any parked domains
- To do that, click on "Remove Link"
- Click on "Yes" to confirm
- Done, the domain has been removed and is no longer parked
