How to Install Nucleus from Fantastico
This tutorial will teach you how to install Nucleus using Fantastico. It might seem a little difficult at first, but watching this tutorial and going through the steps a couple of times will make you a pro before you know it. Fantastico is a great way to install a variety of different types of software, Fantastico makes installation easy and it will have you up and running quickly. Before you begin this tutorial you will want to launch Fantastico.
The Necessary Steps
1. Begin the installation by clicking on the Nucleus link on the left side of the screen under the Blogs section.
2. You will then be redirected to a new screen where you will want to click on the New Installation link in the middle of the screen.
3. On the next screen, enter the name of the directory you want Nucleus to install in. If you leave this blank, Nucleus will install in the root directory.
4. Now enter in an admin username and password in the appropriate box.
5. Scroll down and enter the full name of the admin and the admin's email address.
6. Next enter the blog name in the appropriate box. Just below that you can enter a short name for the blog.
7. Lastly you will want to enter a description for your blog.
8. When you have filled in all the necessary fields click the Install Nucleus button at the bottom of the screen.
9. You are then redirected to another screen where you will need to click the Finish Installation link.
10. You have now successfully installed Nucleus using Fantastico.
