How to Add a Domain in Helm

When you run a website or a group of websites, it can be important to manage traffic according to your plan. Sometimes, one domain name just isn't enough to capture the traffic you are shooting for. Using the Helm interface to control your website's functions you can actually add more domain names to be used on your existing site, giving you the option of redirecting other domains to the domain of your choosing.

Steps to Adding Domains in Helm

  1. Make sure that you are logged in to your Helm account
  2. In order to add domains to your account, start by clicking on the "Add Domains" icon
  3. This main domain page is where your existing domains are listed
  4. From this page, you can edit all of your domains
  5. To add new domains, click on the "Create Domain" button
  6. Enter a new name for the domain you want to add
  7. Click on the "Save" button
  8. The domain has been successfully added
  9. Click on the listing of the new domain in the list
  10. This is the domain menu, that allows you to manipulate email accounts etc.
  11. Plus there is a list of nameserver domain settings for your reference
  12. Click to return to the home page
  13. Remember to change nameserver settings and address with you domain's registrar
