Editing and Publishing an Existing Website with SiteBuilder

Parallels Plesk SiteBuilder is a powerful Web design tool that allows you to build complex and professional websites without the need for advanced skills, such as HTML or graphic design. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of SiteBuilder is its versatility; this is not simply a build-it-and-forget design application. Once you’ve created a website using SiteBuilder, you can continue to use SiteBuilder to revisit that website to perform maintenance as well as add, delete and edit pages, content and modules. Once you’ve completed these updates or maintenance, you simply click the publish button, and then SiteBuilder will seamlessly posts the changes to your live website.

More About Editing with Sitebuilder

In order to get the most out of editing your SiteBuilder website, it’s important to understand its various components. Pages are the core component, and they’re a lot like a traditional webpage except that they have the ability to host other SiteBuilder components, such as modules. SiteBuilder modules are what allow you to individualize your webpages. Basic modules include headers, text, images and navigation widgets. Advanced modules include blogs and e-Shops. SiteBuilder layouts define the structure of a page or array of pages. Common layouts include two and three columns with and without headers and footers. SiteBuilder styles are style sheets that let you define the look of your website at the site level and at the page level. Settings are variables that SiteBuilder uses throughout the site.
