- Can you please give a short presentation of yourself
My name is Drew Adams and I am the Sales Manager at Hivelocity. Over the years I have helped thousands of organizations decide on the best hosting solution for their specific needs. I also guide our sales team to always providing the best experience possible for our new and existing customers.
- What sets your company apart from other providers?
Hivelocity has a focus on customer service like no other company in their industry. We as hosts, are so immersed in servers, trouble tickets, email and so many other impersonal day to day duties, it’s very easy to forget we are in a service industry and going out of our way to make our customers feel important and cared for is still very important.
At Hivelocity we not only provide state-of-the-art hosting solutions in a brand new state-of-the-art data center, we make it a point to get to know our customers, their businesses and growth strategies. We make it a point to reach out to them constantly to ensure we are doing everything we can to provide them with the best possible solution for their ever evolving needs. We have always tried to liken the Hivelocity experience to the feeling one gets when they check into a 5 star resort. We want our customers to know from the first minute they deal with us that they are going to be cared for and well taken care of.
- Who is your typical customer?
This is a tough one to answer since we deal with such a diverse clientele. We have customers from over 100 countries worldwide, each of them doing one of a thousand things with their servers. If I had to answer this in a nutshell, a typical customer would be a medium sized business with a serious need for a reliable online presence.
- What do you think about the future of web hosting/trends in web hosting?
Obviously the biggest trend is virtualization and cloud hosting. Everyone wants to be in a cloud, even if they don’t quite know what it means, they just know they want one. The cloud is kind of like an Ipad, you just want one.
- Finally, if you had to pick one song to represent your company – what song would that be?
We try to keep a very positive and energetic attitude here so I would say “Everything is going to be alright” by Bob Marley.
